Microneedling Science
Precision Medical Microneedles are applied to the epidermis. The highly-targeted nature of the technology ensures that treatment is comfortable. Creating thousands of micro-holes in the skin stimulates the bodies natural healing response, during which new collagen and elastin are created.
Collagen and elastin are proteins responsible for the tone and elasticity of the skin. As the skin heals it will become firmer and the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles will decrease.
The treatment is tailored to the patient’s requirements. The technology we use can be set to penetrate from 0.25mm to 2.5mm. Deeper settings are used to improve the appearance of scars or more significant wrinkles. The device creates up to 98,000 microchannels per minute.

This is a bespoke treatment. Once we have discussed your requirements we will be able to recommend a treatment plan and advise on pricing.
Microneedling vs Dermal Rollers
Microneedling works in a similar way to dermal rollers, however, there are many advantages to the former.
Dermal rollers can create between 24,000 holes per minute. Our technology uses a 14-tip needle head with a smart motor which can create 98,000 holes per minute. More microchannels mean more dramatic results.
The needles of a dermal roller will enter and exit the skin at different angles, causing lateral epidermal tears which means the treatment is more painful and often requires more downtime.
Sessions
Sessions last approximately 30 minutes. The treatment is not painful, however, you may experience mild discomfort. Following the treatment, you may have sensitivity similar to moderate sunburn. Your practitioner will provide you with comprehensive aftercare information to aid in a rapid recovery. We recommend 24 hours of downtime.
Typically, 3-6 treatments are recommended for optimal results.
